Customers from 44 partner retail networks will be able to access Credz Mobile without using their data package.
Mobile's participation in the Brazilian advertising market is expected to increase from 52.9% in 2018 to 77.5% by 2022, according to eMarketer's Latin American Ad Spending report. But its business potential of the medium goes beyond the use of video, rich media or display. Mobile phones are becoming more and more established as service providers through applications that can make people's lives easier and create brand loyalty. Free navigation is one os these tools, which has just been adopted by Credz.
Since May, almost 1 million customers of the CREDZ credit card company can access the internet on their cell phones for free, without spending their data packages, through the CREDZ Mobile application. The service is valid for users of all telephone companies operating in Brazil. "Free access has been increasingly noticed by people because it's practical, while brands recognize it as a powerful and competitive differential," confirms Marcelo Castelo, co-founder and CEO of MUV.
According to Estevan Portela, Director of Credz, "sponsored navigation will attract users to the company's application." Today, CREDZ has approximately 40% of the traffic in its app. MUV's "Free Navigation" is expected to increase the use of the app by 30% for queries on limits, loyalty points, closed invoices, purchase authorization, best day of purchase, among other card data, in a quick and easy way. CREDZ customers are learning about the "Free Navigation" offer through print and digital ads aired since May.
The free internet offer in the CREDZ Mobile application works on smartphones that run iOS and Android mobile operating systems. To enjoy the service, the person must have an active data package by any mobile operator. The free navigation project implemented by MUV for CREDZ relies on Datami's technology for the release of traffic.
